Things to do in Neah Bay for fun, relaxation and adventure.
The Makah Reservation is encompassed by the emerald, green waters of the Pacific Ocean on the west and the Strait of Juan de Fuca with views of the rugged, coastal peaks on Vancouver Island to the north. Here you will find the most pristine beaches of the United States accessible coastlines, lush rain forest trails and the opportunity to spot marine wildlife. Neah Bay is a busy community through all four seasons, from Makah Days in the summer to bird watching in the spring and advanced surfers seeking out the bigger winter surf. We have facilities open for visitors all year round, though some of our local businesses do close for the winter due to the decrease in visitation. Please call ahead and make reservations to ensure you have somewhere to stay during your visit while exploring things to do in Neah Bay and its nearby attractions.

Accommodations for Your Neah Bay Activities
We welcome you to camp at the Hobuck Beach Resort (pictured) or the Cape Resort and enjoy the surf break, the sand, and the ocean breezes. Depending on the season, those gentle breezes of the summer can turn into gale force winds in the winter. Don’t let that scare you away in the cooler months. After the summer ends, the crowds have dissipated and the storm watching becomes exciting. We have a range of options for accommodations from beach front cabins to camping.
