March Winds and April Showers Bring May Flowers

March 18th, 2014 by Errin Walker

As the spring equinox approaches this week, the skunk cabbage is pushing its way up through the bogs and the days are getting longer.  Make plans for a visit and catch a glimpse of the grey whales as they begin their spring migration.  The lookout at Cape Flattery is a great place for viewing.  It is possible to view grey whales from the shore but bring your binoculars to increase your chances.  Check out the Washington State Ecology page for more information regarding the whales:

Call the Cape Resort or Hobuck Beach Resort to check for availability.
